Residential Building Surveys
We do not offer the level 2 RICS Homebuyer's Report.
We carry out independent, comprehensive level 3 Building Surveys for homebuyers.
Each of our survey options include the same thorough, in-depth inspection and each type of report comments upon the same elements within the property and will include photographs and detail remedial actions to the issues identified.
We offer two types of written report to give customers the choice to choose the report which suits their budget.
The first report option is what we call the MPS Home Survey. This follows a traffic light system and the report is slightly less detailed than our Building Survey report. This is the survey that most home buyers choose as it offers the same comprehensive inspection as our Building Survey, but it has an easy to read report at a cost that offers excellent value for money.
The second survey report is our Building Survey. This report is extremely comprehensive and although it covers the same elements as the MPS Home Survey, the detail is greater and each section is finished with an "actions" list which in-turn are listed in the conclusion.
Neither report will offer a valuation, but they can include budget estimates for an additional fee.

Please be aware that if your mortgage company requests an inspection following the mortgage valuation or a Homebuyer's
Report, they usally stipulate a Chartered Building Surveyor and not any other type of Chartered Surveyor.
We are Chartered Building Surveyors, so we are qualified to provide inspection reports to mortgage companies, banks, building societies and insurance companies.
